African American Advisory Council

The primary mission of the African American Advisory Council is to provide leadership, guidance and direction in the planning and production of signature events and programs in a way that:

Showcases the significant contributions of Africans and African Americans to American society over the past four centuries
Ensures cultural and historical accuracy
Identifies key partnerships for planning, marketing, and programming purposes
Leaves a lasting legacy
