Jamestown 2007 Steering Committee

The Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation was designated in 1996 by the General Assembly to be the lead state agency responsible for planning America's 400th anniversary.  The Foundation created the Jamestown 2007 Steering Committee to help coordinate planning for the commemoration. In 2002, the General Assembly designated Jamestown 2007 as a sub-agency of the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation.
